I spent two nights here, enjoying the local scenery and had the pleasure of eating some great food (which was an amazing set of back-to-back courses). I'd highly recommend it for people wanting to hike from Magome to Tsumago as the hosts were kind enough to drop us off at our start point via their bus.

Also comes with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a seating area with low table. We absolutely loved everything about Mozumo! We were two couples travelling together, we stayed for one night and had dinner all together in one of the rooms. The rooms were very beautiful, in traditional style, comfortable, quiet, and the private onsen was incredible. As for the dinner, one of the best we've ever had. And the staff was extremely polite and helpful. Thumbs up to the lady that was serving our dinner, she was so kind, made us feel so welcome and cared for our every need. Overall, it's a 200% recommended experience!

Free WiFi is provided throughout the property, and free private parking is available on site. Nice experience in a high-end traditional Japanese hotel. We were the only western tourists. Very nice onsen with amazing "muddy bath". Delicious meals, very good buffet breakfast.
