Lake Kawaguchi Ohashi Bridge is 6.2 km away and Fujiomuro Sengen Shrine is 7 km from the homestay. We highly recommend Oshi-Kikuyabo Mt-Fuji Historic Inn, it was the highlight of our trip to Japan. The hosts were lovely and you could tell they had put a lot of effort into making the stay enjoyable for all guests. We enjoyed staying in a traditional Japanese home and also loved that the staff shared the history of the house and its significance. The house is central to Fujiyoshida and is within walking distance to shops.

Guest House Zen is a beachfront property situated in Yamanakako, 18 km from Fuji-Q Highland and 21 km from Lake Kawaguchi. The 1-star guest house has air-conditioned rooms with a shared bathroom and free WiFi. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The setting of the place was remarkable, situated right across from Mt Fuji. Fortunately, during my two-day stay, the weather was clear, allowing for unobstructed views of the mountain. The room, ideally sized for a couple, featured a wardrobe for storing our luggage. The pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the room maintained a cozy warmth, thanks to the air conditioners and bed warmers.

It is situated 38 km from Shirakaba-Lake and offers a shared kitchen. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Beautiful peaceful guesthouse with everything you may need. The owner is a lovely lady who was incredibly helpful.

We came for work around Fuji and we enjoyed staying at the property so much. Meeting new people from different countries and having such a comfortable place to stay after a long day. The owner of the house was extremely friendly, we will always remember him and his family. Super lovely

Hakone is 40 km from the guest house, while Fuji is 38 km from the property. Tokyo Haneda International Airport is 89 km away. Where to begin! We absolutely loved our stay at Hana hostel. Hana and her husband were so friendly and accommodating and made us feel at home. Hana was a huge help and provided us with lots of information about the area and for onward transport options to Osaka. The room was a traditional Japanese style and so clean and comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen facilities are also amazing and really clean and comfortable. The location is less than 5minutes walk to the bus and train station. Hana also gave us a very thoughtful gift before we left which was totally unexpected and greatly appreciated. Would recommend everyone to stay here when visiting Mt. Fuji.

Renovated in September 2018, Guesthouseほのぼの offers an accommodation with free WiFi in Fujikawaguchiko, 1.3 km from Lake Kawaguchi. Free private parking is available on site on a first-come, first-serve basis as well as prior reservation. Free shuttle service is available upon prior request from the property to Kawaguchiko Station. I liked the attitude of the host. He was very friendly and made sure all our needs were met. We felt very welcomed and we wished we could've stayed longer

Open from July 2017, Guesthouse Murabito is nestled just a 2-minute stroll away from Lake Yamanaka. Free WiFi access is available throughout the entire property, and free private parking is offered on site. A convenience store and supermarket are respectively a 2 and 15-minute stroll away. A restaurant is located a 3-minute walk away from the accommodation. What I liked about the property was how comfortable I was able to be and how warm and welcoming the staff were. This place is very special and dear to me because not only was the location great but the staff were so accommodating and this place had so much charm to it. The facilities were great as well super clean and sanitary beds were great and I felt very safe here. The best part was having coffee and chatting with the owners Keisuke and Marino. Great people with great stories, I could definitely talk to them for days straight if I wasn’t backpacking throughout Japan. Overall Yamanakako is a hidden gem and there is no better place to stay and experience it than Guesthouse Murabito.
