    Aside from the tenryu River area, there is not much to see...

    Aside from the tenryu River area, there is not much to see or do, so a day or two is plenty. There's lots of yakiniku and onsen though so it's good for just relaxing too. The tenryu River and boat trip is beautiful. Note that the main train line through Iida runs quite a reduced service (one or two trains an hour at most, sometime noes for two hours), so plan it well.

    Iida is not a very famous city even though it has a lot of...

    Iida is not a very famous city even though it has a lot of atractions one of which is wonderful puppet festival in august. It has a lot of nature and delicious food. It is nice to go there to discover Japan out of big metropolis
